| Will Smith's Legend Is Starting to Fade Away
The Legend himself, Will Smith, put on yet another swanky suit to premiere his movie in Berlin on Monday. Afterwards he posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans before his dinner. Will seems happy-go-lucky as usual, but I Am Legend is starting to slip at the box office. It even got beat out by Juno for the No. 2 slot last weekend, even though original reports claimed the opposite. Not the best news for action hero Will, but he's still got his record breaking December opening to help him sleep at night. Lots more of Will hamming it up in his long coat, so just read more .
To Clyde 9:
Naval Aviation hopefuls are trained to box. The Navy is not really trying to develop the next Mike Tyson, but they have a specific purpose for this training and it serves its purpose. The boxing program is designed to test three things about the flyboy wannabes; their response to training under duress, their physical fitness, and their mettle. All of the qualities that it takes to be a viable aviator in combat, post-shoot down survival, or life in a POW environment. For anyone that has boxed, jab-jab-hook is as easy as it comes on the heavy bag or in front of the mirror, but throw in a couple of rounds of shuffling around the ring, and take a few shots to the brain/housing group, and jab-jab-hook becomes more like walking a tight rope in a hurricane. The brain knows what it wants do, but the ability to physically respond to its commands cannot be overcome because of exhaustion, disorientation, and the cumulative toll that blows to the head have over time.
On this day, shared vision

Bump or Bust for MBA Jobs?
Up to now, the academic year has been good for MBA student job-seekers. Recruiters haven't stopped coming to campus to interview for summer internship jobs, career services officers said. Meanwhile, second-year students looking for full-time jobs appear to be doing as well as, if not better than, their counterparts last year, with many schools reporting increased recruiting, more job offers, and higher salaries for this year's grads. But that can all change in a hurry. The challenging financial environment means students must be extra diligent when conducting their internship and job searches this year, said Tom Kozicki, board president of the MBA Career Services Council, the umbrella group of school career placement offices. "Those who are attacking the market aggressively, I think, will fare well whether the economy dips or not, but those who wait on the sidelines and hope for something to be delivered to them by their business school are the ones who will get caught if this market turns down," said Kozicki, who also serves as executive director of the career center at the University of California, Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business.
Thinking of spring training, Francoeur’s future
Oakland's GM did a little late wheeling and dealing while most others were traveling, kicking back, looking over recently tweaked rosters and determining what needs to be done between the holidays and opening day.) I wouldn't say I'm entirely ready to pack up and head to Dark Star (Disney) for six weeks of spring training, but I'm at least starting to think about it. Still got plenty of movies and college hoops to watch between now and Feb. 14, reporting day for pitchers & catchers — and ink-stained members of the Fourth Estate. By the way, for those wondering about who's gonna be at FanFest next weekend (Jan. 12-13) at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta: Almost every current Braves player is scheduled to sign autographs at some point during the two-day event, including John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, Chipper Jones, Tim Hudson, Mark Teixeira, Jeff Francoeur, Brian McCann, Kelly Johnson and, yes, non-roster invitee Javy Lopez.
